Module compatibility
The snare presents as a standard dual-zone mesh pad. If your module has a 1/4″ TRS snare input, it will work — this table shows how well, and which trigger type to select.
Provisional data. 13 of 13 rows below are informed expectations based on published module specifications, not bench tests on a production unit. Verify each module and set verified: true in src/data/compatibility.ts before launch. If your module is not listed, ask us rather than assuming.

Setting it up takes about two minutes
- Plug into the snare input. Use any standard 1/4" TRS (stereo) cable — the one already going to your snare pad is fine. Nothing else needs to move.
- Set the trigger type. In your module's trigger settings, choose a dual-zone mesh snare pad. The table above lists the closest match; Roland owners can load the full bank from the Roland trigger settings page.
- Set sensitivity and threshold. Start at your module's default. If quiet ghost notes drop out, lower the threshold a little. If loud hits max out early, drop sensitivity a few points.
- Tune to taste. Tension the mesh head with a standard drum key. This changes stick feel and rebound only — it does not affect how the trigger reads velocity.
